In the Russian city of Pervouralsk, a 73-year-old pensioner, who twice tried to set fire to

the Military Commissariat

, was convinced that she was participating in a "secret security operation against terrorists."

This was reported by the Shot Telegram channel.

It is known that at the end of March 2023, the woman received a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as an official Lebedev.

The man reported that the fraudsters allegedly issued a loan for the woman in the amount of 600,000 rubles.

The pensioner told the unknown person that she had 200,000 rubles, which she agreed to transfer to a "safe account".

Then, on the instructions of the attackers, a local resident took several loans from the bank in the amount of more than 200 thousand rubles.

After some time, the man contacted the pensioner again, thanked her for her help and promised to pay 600,000 rubles as a bonus from the "police".

After that, he offered her to take part in another "operation" for 200,000 rubles - to set fire to the Military Commissariat building.

The woman was contacted by the "curator", who asked the pensioner to buy car oil and a bottle of champagne in the store, after which pour out the alcohol and pour the flammable mixture into the container.

Fraudsters convinced the woman that the outbreak would frighten "terrorists operating near the police station."

The pensioner took a bottle with an incendiary mixture and went to the Military Commissariat by bus.

On the way, she bought a lighter.

The fraudsters asked the woman to film the "operation on video", which made it difficult for her to film on her phone and use a lighter at the same time.

Having failed to set fire to the combustible mixture, the pensioner left.

Then the intruders asked to replace the car oil with gasoline, which the woman did, returning to the military commissariat in a few hours.

The police detained her there.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened against the woman for hooliganism, committed by a group of persons based on a previous conspiracy.

She faces up to seven years in prison.

We will remind you that

in Russia they are so afraid of arson of military commissariats that they have strengthened the security of buildings.
