Inspections of motor vehicles at roadblocks are necessary stabilization and preventive measures for the sake of safety in

This was reported by Andriy Nebytov of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region.

"I periodically see in social networks the indignation of some citizens due to the stopping of vehicles and checks at checkpoints by the defense forces and the police, I emphasize once again that these are necessary stabilization and preventive measures for the sake of security in the capital and the capital region," Nebitov emphasized. 

He noted that drugs, weapons, and explosives are seized from illegal traffic almost every day, and persons who are wanted or who require additional verification by special services are identified.

"If during such inspections illegal actions are committed against you, immediately report to 102 or to another law enforcement agency," Nebytov explained.
