In Russia, on April 1, an earthquake was recorded near the resort town of Pyatigorsk.

However, aftershocks were also felt in other cities.

This was reported in the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3

was recorded 99 km northeast of Pyatigorsk.

The epicenter of the underground is 15 km deep.

Residents of Pyatigorsk, which is located at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, as well as Zheleznovodsk

felt these ground vibrations.

This was announced by the heads of cities Dmytro Voroshilov and Yevhen Bakulin.

Note that the earthquake in Zheleznovodsk was somewhat stronger - with a magnitude of 4.6.

"So far, there have been no reports of damage or casualties from the territorial services and ECDS (unified on-call dispatch service - ed.). Repeated aftershocks have not been observed," Voroshilov wrote in the Network.

He added instructions on how to act in the event of an earthquake

to his message .

At the same time, Bakulin reported that 16 phone calls about the earthquake have been received by the ECHR.

He

recommended that residents of the city leave the buildings in case of repeated aftershocks.

Meanwhile, the head of the city of Yesentuka, Oleksandr Nekristov, reported that no destruction or damage was recorded there either.

It will be recalled that at the beginning of March, a scientist from the Netherlands, Frank Hoogerbits, who predicted devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, said that Russia will suffer from a "mega-earthquake".
