Doctor Eliot worked in a clinic in the eastern United States for five years.

But after seeing in the news that people are suffering every day in Ukraine due to Russian aggression, he went overseas to become a volunteer.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.

Eliot arrived in Ukraine two months ago.

For cooperation, he chose the hospital of St. Panteleimon of the First Medical Association of Lviv, where wounded soldiers and civilians are hospitalized.

"When our patients recover, I feel real satisfaction from the work I do in this hospital. Their wounds heal before my eyes. That's why I'm happy when the patients who have been helped here take their first steps," says the American.

The man works as a nurse in Department No. 1 of the Center for Surgery and Oncology and sees with his own eyes every day the victims of patient invaders.

We previously reported that a heart transplant was performed for the first time in Odesa.

Doctors successfully performed an extremely difficult operation and saved the 43-year-old man.
