The Russian army continues to bombard our country with various types of weapons.

In total, they carried out five missile and 12 air strikes during the day.

This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As noted, during the day, the enemy launched five rocket and 12 air strikes, carried out more than 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems. 

The occupiers shelled Zaporozhye

Not having the desired results on the battlefield, the enemy continues to cynically terrorize the peaceful citizens of our country.

Today, the Russian Federation launched another missile attack on civilian objects in the city of Zaporizhzhia and other populated areas of Ukraine, using ballistic missiles.

The enemy also used 6 Shahed-136 type UAVs for air strikes - all of them were destroyed by our defenders. 

The probability of launching further missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. 

What is the situation in operational directions

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Marin areas.

During this day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 30 enemy attacks.

The battles for the settlements of Bilogorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka remain the fiercest. 

On the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

As part of combat training, the training of the SSO units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus was completed.

At the same time, the top political leadership of this country continues to support Russian aggression, provides air space and territory to the enemy.

The training of units of the territorial troops of the armed forces of the Russian Federation continues at the Belarusian training grounds.

However, no signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were found.

The enemy will continue to maintain a military presence in the border areas of the Kursk and Belgorod regions. 

Kamianka, Figolivka, Synkivka, Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy fire in the Kupyansk direction.

During the day, in the Lymansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Makiivka, Kreminna, Dibrova, Bilogorivka and in the Serebryansk forestry area.

Settlements near the battle line, such as Nevske, Dibrova, Belogorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne in the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy does not stop storming the city of Bakhmut, trying to take it under complete control.

During the day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Ozaryanivka and Mayorsk of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiiv and Marin directions, the enemy conducted offensive actions near the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka and Pervomaiske, without success.

He shelled the settlements of Stepove, Tonenke, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsky direction during the day, the enemy actively used UAVs to adjust the artillery fire, shelled the settlements of Vodyane, Vugledar, Velyka Novosilka, Krasnohorivka and Novosilka of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy did not conduct active operations, improving defensive lines and positions in terms of fortification.

Shelled, in particular, the settlements of Vremivka, Novosilka of the Donetsk region;

Olhivske, Gulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Mali Shcherbaki, Stepnohirsk of the Zaporizhia region, as well as Kherson.

What settlements were shelled by the Russians

During the day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Baranivka in the Chernihiv region, Sosnivka, Volfine, Kindrativka, Novomykolaivka, Popivka, Oleksandrivka in the Sumy region, as well as the settlements of Veterinarne, Hoptivka, Strelecha, Hlyboke, Bochkove, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.

The occupiers are fleeing from their positions

The trend of increasing cases of escape of groups of enemy personnel from units and military units continues.

Thus, in the Starobil district of the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the occupiers are looking for 50 servicemen who deserted. 

How the Defense Forces aviation worked

During the day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers.

Units of missile troops and artillery struck 8 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment, a warehouse of fuel and lubricants, 2 anti-aircraft missile complexes, an artillery unit in a firing position, as well as a radio electronic warfare station.

We will remind that the Russian occupiers took another missile carrier on combat duty in the Black Sea.
