The implementation of peace plans regarding the situation in Ukraine is currently impossible, because Kiev cannot ignore its curators, who insist on continuing the war.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports that Kremlin press secretary Dmitri Peskov said this while commenting on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's proposal to stop hostilities in Ukraine and offer reconciliation.

The Kremlin spokesman said that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the settlement plan of Chinese leader Xi Jinping regarding Ukraine and its separate provisions: "However, we do not agree with these two sets of ideas (Xi Jinping's peace plan and Alexander Lukashenko's proposal to stop hostilities and reconciliation-ed.) We hardly consider it appropriate to compare".

Peskov also said that Beijing's plan cannot be implemented now.

"They cannot be implemented at the moment due to the impossibility of the Ukrainian side not obeying its curators and commanders. As we know, these curators do not sit in Kiev and insist on continuing the war," he added.

Peskov also said that Putin and Lukashenko can discuss Minsk's initiatives on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine at the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
