The body of a young man was found floating in a lake near the Bela Voda district of Pernik.

It is supposed to belong to the missing 25-year-old Emil Boev.

The body has been sent for an autopsy and the identity is yet to be ascertained.

It was dumped near the mine's slurry storage facility in the Bela Voda district of Perni, when it was spotted by workers.

A trace of a tattoo was found on the body, as Emil Boev had in the same place.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that a DNA examination will be carried out to establish the identity of the body.

The relatives of Emil Boev have been notified and have been summoned for identification.

The 25-year-old man was missing for 62 days after disappearing during the Surva festival in Pernik.

He was last seen near his vehicle where he left his phone with no battery.

He got out of the car and went to the outskirts of Pernik.

His relatives organized a large-scale operation to search for him, but it was unsuccessful.

His family announced a cash reward of 100,000 BGN for whoever finds him alive.
