The Environmental Protection Bureau responded that it reviewed the development conditions according to the law and required the industry to do a good job in pollution prevention and control, giving priority to environmental protection, safety, and health, and protecting the rights and interests of citizens.

The Dakuo waste treatment plant is located in the northern section of Xiwei. Due to the increasing demand for waste treatment, Hansheng proposed a plan in 2018 to replace the old with the new at the original site, introduce a new type of incinerator system, and build a new Class A business The waste treatment plant is currently entering the second phase of the environmental assessment. During the review process, some environmental assessment committee members believed that the health risk assessment data were insufficient, and the industry held additional briefings to incorporate public opinions into the environmental assessment.

The public questioned that the health risk assessment plan was complicated and difficult, and the local residents could not understand it at all. The briefing was held at 11 o'clock in the morning on weekdays. They questioned that the industry was just going through administrative procedures and had no sincerity to listen to public opinion.

Residents emphasized that Hansheng has repeatedly emphasized safety and legality, so why not move to an industrial area.

According to the Environmental Protection Bureau, the processing capacity of the Dakuo waste treatment plant is three per hour.

Ninety-eight metric tons, the base belongs to a specific agricultural area, and the land is designated as a land for special purposes of environmental protection, which can be used for industrial waste treatment business. The public's suggestion will be included in the content of the follow-up environmental impact assessment document.
