An agreement was signed on the production of South Korean K2 tanks in Poland.

APA reports that this was reported by the Polish Radio "Polskie Radio 24".

It was noted that according to the agreement signed between Warsaw and Seoul, the production of Korean K2 tanks will be started on the territory of Poland.

The Polish army is expected to acquire 180 tanks in the coming years, and this number will be increased to a thousand later.

The plant that will start operating will be engaged in production not only for the needs of the Polish army, but also for re-export.
