Authorities in Norway have confiscated a record amount of cocaine hidden in a shipment of South American fruit, following a tip from Germany, DPA reported.

Norwegian police said more than 800 kilograms of the drug were seized in the capital Oslo this week.

However, no arrests have been made so far, inspector Greta Metlid said at a press conference.

They caught 2.3 tons of cocaine in artificial ceramic tiles

The shipment, which has an estimated street value of tens of millions of euros, is linked to the 1,200 kilograms of cocaine found recently among cartons of Ecuadorian bananas in the German state of Brandenburg.
