A recreational vehicle hit a utility pole forcefully, causing the pole to be seriously skewed, and the police and ambulance personnel went to rescue it.

[Reporter Ye Yongqian/Pingtung Report] A 68-year-old woman surnamed Huang was driving a black SUV at noon today. The force was so violent that the utility poles tilted. Fortunately, Huang only had bruises on her limbs. After being sent to the hospital for treatment, she was fine. The alcohol test was zero.

The Wandan branch of the Pingtung Police Department received a traffic accident at Section 2 of Zhongxing Road, Wandan Township at about 11:17 noon today. On the ground, the utility pole was hit and tilted. The police immediately sent personnel to the scene for traffic control, and notified the engineering personnel of Taipower Company to rush to the scene for repairs.

According to the preliminary police investigation, the female driver surnamed Huang was driving eastward from the west of Section 2 of Zhongxing Road. She deviated from the lane due to dizziness and hit the opposite electric pole. Zhao continued to clarify.

The police appeal to the public that if they feel unwell while driving, they should let go of the accelerator to slow down, hold the steering wheel tightly and activate the hazard warning lights, and let the vehicle gradually slide to a safe place on the side of the road to maintain the safety of themselves and other passers-by.
