Turkey strongly condemns the fact that the hate crime committed against the Holy Quran and the Turkish flag in Denmark on March 24 was allowed to be repeated in the month of Ramadan.

According to APA's Istanbul correspondent, this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.

"We emphasize once again that we do not accept this despicable act under the name of freedom of expression, and this approach cannot be justified at any time.

It is clear that the inadequacy of legal and administrative measures and the lack of political will to prevent such acts, and the impunity of the perpetrators, have given rise to new provocations," the statement said.

It was also added that Denmark's ambassador to Turkey was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the issue, and he was informed about the issue.
