In the future, public transport will stop in

Kyiv

during an air alert.

The authorities of the capital did not support the petition calling for the cancellation of the stop.

This is stated in the response of the mayor of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko to the appeal.

According to the mayor, the decision of the Kyiv City Defense Council was made taking into account the assessment of the current and projected security situation in the capital.

"The decision will be reviewed only on the condition of its significant stabilization and receipt of relevant recommendations from the State Emergency Service," the message reads.

It will be revised only under the condition of its substantial stabilization and receipt of relevant recommendations from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The mayor emphasized that the suspension of public transport during an air alert does not incur any additional costs for passengers.

After all, after its completion, they can use pre-paid travel documents.

By the way, in the capital, from August, I decided to stop the operation of public transport during the air alert.

In particular, passengers must leave the cabin and go to the nearest shelter.

We would like to remind you that from Sunday, March 26, in Kyiv,
