The UGCC does not yet plan to change the traditions related to the lunar calendar, since the "immovable" holidays have not yet been reformed.

Svyatoslav Shevchuk, head of the UGCC, told about this on the air of the "1+1" TV channel.

He noted that for now the UGCC is not going to change its traditions related to the lunar calendar, since the "immovable" holidays have not yet been reformed.

However, Shevchuk expressed hope that Catholics and the Orthodox world will continue to work on the creation of a common Easter, to celebrate together not only Christmas, but also Easter all over the world.

We will remind you that on Thursday, March 30, supporters of the Moscow Church gathered again in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
