Earlier today, it became known about a terrible tragedy that took place in Dolna Oryahovitsa - a pack of dogs killed a woman.

10 animals attacked the 39-year-old victim in the early hours of the morning.

The woman, who was an orderly at the municipal hospital in Gorna Oryahovitsa, came home from work around 7 o'clock.

She died on the spot.

The murdered woman had a 15-year-old child, Nova TV clarifies.

The dogs were not registered, they were homeless, but they were cared for by a person who let them out in the yard of the house he cared for.

The property has been cordoned off by the police.

The owner of the house has a criminal record and is currently behind bars

. 

The case is being investigated. 

"The initial examination shows that the death occurred as a result of lacerations. It is assumed that they were caused by a pack of dogs, but this must be confirmed by the forensic medical examinations," explained Marijana Hristova, spokesperson of the District Directorate of the Turnovo Police.
