Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States General Mark Milley said that

Russia, China and Iran

are three countries that will create problems for global security for many years.

The American general said this during the hearing on the defense budget for the 2024 fiscal year in the Committee of the US House of Representatives on the Armed Forces, Voice of America reports.

Yes, Milli expressed concern about diplomatic relations between Russia and China.

According to him, in the USA "we see that they are getting closer

.

"I wouldn't call it a true alliance in the literal sense of the word, but we're seeing them get closer

, and Iran is the third. So I think those three countries together will cause problems for years to come, especially Russia and China because of their opportunities," said the general.

Milli also noted that China and Russia have means that can threaten the interests of the United States.

"There has been no war between great powers for the past 80 years, in large part because of the rules put in place after World War II and the capabilities of the United States military, along with our allies and partners," Milley said.

As for the PRC, the United States has stated that Beijing is the number one long-term geostrategic challenge for the United States.

In particular,

through the nuclear program.

General Milley also highlighted the dangerous

policies of Iran,

which has also taken steps to improve its nuclear weapons capabilities.

And he considers Russia

a threat to world stability.

He reiterated: "We support Ukraine in protecting its sovereignty and we support NATO in the form of a United States military presence in every country on the Eastern flank of the Alliance. This struggle is not only in the interests of Ukraine, but also in the interests of the United States to protect the system that prevented wars of great powers during the last eight decades".

It will be recalled that earlier the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the USA, General Mark Milley, promised that America would not allow Iran to create

nuclear weapons.
