The captain of the EL AL airliner's Tokyo-Tel Aviv flight sent an emergency landing request to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport told APA that the reason for this was the sudden deterioration of the health of the passenger on the plane.

"Boeing 787-9" plane successfully landed at Baku airport at 21:51 local time.

Immediately after landing, the passenger was handed over to the emergency medical team and taken to one of the capital's clinics.
