A criminal drug gang with 12 members was detained in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Drugs worth 7.3 million hryvnias were seized from them. 

The press service of the Dnipropetrovsk police informs about this.  

"The members of the group are residents of the city of Zhovti Vody, who were engaged in the sale of methamphetamine, the cultivation of cannabis, and the sale of these and other drugs on the territory of the city," the message reads. 

The police established that the criminal organization was created and headed by a 32-year-old resident of Zhovty Vody.

He involved 11 more locals in illegal activities, including a 16-year-old boy.

During the search, they seized: 32 kg of marijuana, half a kilogram of methamphetamine, methadone, acetylated and extracted opium.

Weapons, four cars, half a million hryvnias and other physical evidence were also seized from the perpetrators.

Among the coffins and funeral wreaths, the police found a firearm, a grenade, a crossbow and half a kilogram of narcotics.
