British Minister of State for Justice, Lord Christopher Bellem, was disappointed by the armed attack against MP Fazil Mustafa.

MP Kamal Jafarov said this in his statement to APA.

Kamal Jafarov said that he met with the Minister of the State Secretariat for Justice of Great Britain: "The new bill on Human Rights, which was the main topic of our meeting with various sectors and institutions in the last two days, was presented to the Parliament by Lord Bellamy."

I learned his point of view and arguments regarding the new bill.

At the end of the meeting, Lord Belemi said that he was aware of the armed attack against my colleague Fazil Mustafa, that he was very disappointed by this news and wished him a speedy recovery.

I would like to mention that all the meetings I held in Great Britain are within the mandate of the PACE rapporteur.

The main purpose of our mission to London is to examine the compliance of the reforms implemented by Great Britain in the field of human rights with international documents.
