The Russian list of "unfriendly countries", to which Moscow included

Hungary

on March 30 , became a sign of quality.

This is how the adviser to the head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podolyak commented on the decision of the Russian Federation.

"Being on the list of "countries unfriendly to the Russian Federation" is a sign of quality. It is a rejection of corruption, torture, looting, uncontrolled aggression and the killing of innocent people," Podolyak wrote on his Twitter.

The adviser to the OP chairman emphasizes that the closer Ukraine is to victory, the more countries will be added to Russia's "unfriendly" list.

Relations between Moscow and Budapest

Russia included Hungary in the list of "unfriendly countries" allegedly because

Budapest "signed up to all EU anti-Russian sanctions."

Hungarian President Katalin Novak said that she

supports the peace plan for Ukraine

, which involves the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.

Meanwhile,

the Hungarian government vetoed a joint statement

on the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijarto, stated that Budapest

refused to participate in the joint purchase of ammunition

for Ukraine under the EU plan.
