Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that it will be possible to resolve the war through diplomacy only when Russia is defeated on the battlefield.

He said this during a discussion organized by Chatham House.

"Every war ends with diplomacy. That is, the question of how you will end the war is signed on paper. Today, my job as the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is how to supply more weapons to Ukraine to make the army stronger, and today everyone is focused on this idea," Kuleba said. .

According to him, today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on strengthening the Ukrainian army in order to bring the war closer to the time of negotiations as soon as possible.

At the same time, the path to achieving peace was formulated during the speech of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the G20.

"But what Russia is doing speaks for itself. They don't want to solve it through diplomacy, they want to solve it on the battlefield," Kuleba noted.

We will remind you that on the eve of the visit of Xi Jinping - the Chinese president - to Moscow, the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, said that he was ready for a "political-diplomatic settlement" of the war against Ukraine.
