[Reporter Wen Yude/Taipei Report] The late producer Pei Xiangquan died of illness 8 years ago. The well-known producers Qiu Yukuan and Yang Zhiming who regarded Pei as their mentors, according to Pei's last will, "the family will not give a dime", to Pei His younger siblings filed a civil lawsuit to confirm the absence of inheritance rights, but the Taipei District Court held that since Qiu and Yang could not prove that Pei's younger siblings had severely abused or insulted Pei Xiangquan, there was no reason to file a lawsuit, and the judgment was lost.

Appealable.

Qiu and Yang argued that Pei Xiangquan made a will before his death and said: "I am a widow, I have no family, I have nothing to miss, and my family will not give me a dime." Later, Yang visited Pei and asked him whether he wanted to leave the inheritance to his family ?

Pei already clearly expressed "no" and "don't give any".

Moreover, Pei Xiangquan's family would only contact each other when they were in urgent need of money, and even embezzled the money that Pei used to pay for his father's nursing home. Furthermore, Yang Zhiming had followed Pei for more than 30 years. Pei was unmarried and had no children, and had never I heard Pei mention that he has brothers and sisters.

There was another time when Pei Xiangquan was hospitalized due to illness. Although his family members went to visit him, Pei woke up and faced loud yelling from his family members. When Pei Xiangquan was hospitalized for the second time, his family members had to sign a consent form, but the family members who came to the scene demanded that Pei’s company pay for each meal. Even 18 yuan of mineral water and 10 yuan of tea eggs are not willing to pay.

The family members were also called to smoke in the ward, or put the trash can containing excrement next to Pei Xiangquan's head. Qiu and Yang believed that Pei's siblings had caused serious mental abuse to Pei, and Pei had refused to hand over any inheritance through his will To the family, file this lawsuit.

The brothers and sisters of the Pei family pointed out that Qiu and Yang, who were not related by blood, secretly declared inheritance tax to the National Taxation Bureau with a will of unknown origin, and claimed to be the executors of the will. Another court case has also ruled that the will is invalid.

What's more, before Pei Xiangquan died, Qiu and Yang refused family contact and visited Pei who was hospitalized for various reasons. They had no way of knowing how Pei was physically and mentally tortured before his death, or where Pei's ashes were placed.

In addition, according to the nursing records, Pei’s family members worked as nurses in the hospital, took care of Pei Xiangquan for more than 40 days, and changed Pei’s diapers; as for the unified invoices for related expenses to the company as administrative reimbursement expenses, it is reasonable and there is no abuse. Therefore, the family cannot be deprived of inheritance.

The North Court held that Qiu and Yang claimed that the Pei family's younger siblings rarely contacted Pei Xiangquan for a long time, did not attend Pei's memorial service, and deliberately placed the trash can with excrement next to Pei, etc., all because Qiu and Yang could not provide evidence, but It is not convincing; since it is impossible to prove that the Pei family siblings had seriously abused or insulted Pei, there is no reason to file this lawsuit, and Qiu and Yang lost the lawsuit.

Appealable.
