[Reporter Xu Guozhen/Taichung Report] It was reported this morning that an old house collapsed in an alley on Taiwan Avenue in the Central District of Taichung City. Three workers were crushed in the rubble. A worker was buried alive and did not escape. The search and rescue personnel have found the hair and fingers of the trapped person, and the rescue continued throughout the night.

It is understood that the 52-year-old worker surnamed Chen and the 41-year-old worker surnamed Wu are still in distress.

In order to speed up the rescue process, the fire department dispatched two search and rescue dogs to assist in the rescue at noon. They went deep into the rubble pile in the back half of the house to a depth of about 1 meter and found signs of survivors. Large-scale machinery and tools are used to remove and carry bricks with bare hands and small machines. It is hoped that the workers' trapped positions can be identified as soon as possible from the gaps.

The search and rescue personnel used equipment to detect and shoot, and found the exposed fingers and hair of the trapped person in the rubble and mounds. Judging from the relevant location, it may be a worker surnamed Chen, who was actively rescued overnight.
