The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) plans to hold five joint military exercises in Belarus this year.

The spokesman of the headquarters noted that representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as the CSTO Secretariat and the Joint Headquarters participated in the negotiations held on March 28-30.

Based on the results of the headquarters negotiations, it was decided that joint complex exercises of the collective forces of the CSTO will be carried out, and this will take place in the highest format - a joint operational-strategic exercise called "Combat Brotherhood".

The spokesman also added that within the framework of the joint operational-strategic exercise called "Battle brotherhood - 2023", joint and special exercises of various components of the CSTO troops were planned on the territory of Belarus.
