The Ukrenergo company signed an agreement with 15 system operators of the European energy association ENTSO-E.

It entered into force on Wednesday, March 29.

The agreement allows Ukraine to turn to a number of European countries for technical assistance in unforeseen situations.

The press service of "Ukrenergo" informs about this.

"Previously, Ukraine could count on support from the energy systems of neighboring states. With the signing of the new agreement, the range of states from which emergency assistance can be requested, if necessary, has expanded to include energy systems with which we are not neighbors. This further strengthens the stability of Ukraine's energy system, which critically important in the context of regular Russian attacks on our energy infrastructure," the message reads.

Such assistance differs from imports in that it is an emergency measure to overcome the out-of-state situation and the need for it cannot be predicted in advance.

Earlier we reported that restrictions on electricity supply were canceled in the capital and Kyiv region.

This allows the light to return to all residents of the region.
