Punjab Police has imposed National Security Act (NSA) on Amritpal Singh.

New Delhi:

Khalistan campaigner and Chief of 'Waris Punjab De' Amritpal Singh (Amritpal Singh) is being searched by the Punjab Police for 13 consecutive days.

The news of Amritpal being sometimes in Delhi, sometimes in Haryana and sometimes in Uttarakhand has also been coming.

But the police have not yet received any input regarding his exact location.

Meanwhile, Amritpal Singh has released a new video on Thursday.

In this he has clearly said that he is not surrendering.

This is his second video.

Amritpal Singh, a 30-year-old separatist and Khalistani supporter, describes himself as a follower of Sikh terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

On March 18, he was absconding after the police action against the members of 'Waris Punjab De' organization.

In his new video, Amritpal Singh said, 'I am spending the days of rebellion.

Not going to surrender.

Akal Takht asks for self-surrender

Meanwhile, the Jathedar of Akal Takht (the highest temporary seat of Sikhs) has asked fugitive Amritpal Singh to surrender before the police and cooperate in the investigation.

Last week, the Punjab and Haryana High Court reprimanded the Punjab Police and asked how Amritpal Singh could dodge them again and again.

Calling it an intelligence failure, the High Court asked the Punjab government- "You have 80,000 policemen. What were they doing. How did Amritpal Singh escape?"

The Punjab government told the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday that it was close to catching Amritpal Singh.

Amritpal changing face

A new picture of Amritpal Singh with his close aide Papalpreet Singh surfaced on social media on Monday. Officials said the picture was taken a day after the police operation against the radical Sikh preacher began.

In this he is seen in a denim jacket and black glasses.

Has relations with ISI

News agency PTI reported that according to official sources, Amritpal Singh is maintaining close relations with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and some terrorist groups based abroad.

Amritpal Singh was building a private militia,

considered close to UK-based Khalistani terrorist Avtar Singh Khanda.

Khanda is considered a big reason behind Amritpal's status.

According to the report, Amritpas was allegedly creating a "private militia" of youths from drug de-addiction centres, which were being used for violent protests.
