The message indicates that the Ukrainian president and the Italian prime minister discussed the ways to establish peace in Ukraine, including the withdrawal of the troops of the Russian invaders.

"I had a productive conversation with the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgio Maloney. We talked about our bilateral and international initiatives. The path to peace in Ukraine is the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of our state and the implementation of our peace formula," the message reads.

In addition, the president thanked the Italian friends of Ukraine for their support.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Maloni 

responded to the call of a deputy from the "Five Star Movement" (M5S) party to stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine

 and start the so-called "negotiations" with Russia.

 Zelensky invited the Chinese leader Xi Jinping to visit Ukraine


According to the head of state, he has not been in contact with the Chinese leader since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
