Russia has developed a remote-controlled underwater drone "Skat" for monitoring, demining and reconnaissance.

APA reports that Andrey Bratenkov, executive director of "Spectr" engineering design bureau, said this.

“The flight controller allows the operator to control the vehicle more effectively from the ground.

"Skat" is designed for monitoring of hydrotechnical facilities, demining, exploration, viewing of objects from a depth of up to 100 m.

On March 27, Bratenkov announced that specialists from the Spektr Engineering design bureau had developed a ground-based hedgehog drone to destroy armored vehicles.
