"Once again, we draw attention to the subversive activities of NATO countries, which have been involved in the conflict for a long time" in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said

Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov is a Russian diplomat, and since 2004 he has been the Minister of Foreign Affairs at a press conference.

He accused the NATO countries because they are heavily involved in the conflict and because they are fighting on the side of Kiev.

Meanwhile, Tehran's top diplomat Hossein Amir Abdollahian offered Iran's support for mediating a peace deal.

The West continues to arm Ukraine, complicating the situation, he said.

France will double supplies of ammunition to Ukraine

According to Western officials, Iran is also supporting its partner Russia by supplying so-called kamikaze drones in its war against Ukraine.

Tehran denies this, although Russia's TASS news agency quoted Amir Abdolakhian as saying that Iran had sent a limited number of drones to Russia in November 2021, three months before the aggression against Ukraine.

In response, Moscow said it only had drones made in Russia.

The two foreign ministers also talked about attempts to revive the Iran nuclear deal and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
