Russia's armed forces began military exercises in Siberia on Wednesday, which include the deployment of nuclear-capable Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles.

The news came directly from the Kremlin, from where they specified that the exercise was part of the program of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Ministry of Defense added on its official website that the missile formations in Omsk and Novosibirsk will take part in the exercise.
