On Wednesday, March 29, the defense ministers of Ukraine and Croatia discussed the issue of strengthening air defense and assistance in humanitarian demining.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"Croatia has a fantastic experience in demining, because it is a country that has been engaged in humanitarian demining for more than 25 years and continues to do so, because it is a legacy of the war that took place on their territory," Reznikov said.
The Croatian National Mine Action Center has very strong expertise, he added.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also emphasized that Croatia has been a conscious ally of Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale war.
Earlier we reported that Croatia started the operation by sending up to 14 transport helicopters.
Twelve MI 8 MTV-1 helicopters and two MI 8 T helicopters were allocated to Ukraine.
