Kamada Ekadashi Date: Know which fasts are observed after Ram Navami. 

Som Pradosh Vrat:

Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri.

According to belief on Navami, girls are fed Kanjak at home and Kanyapujan is done.

Ram Navami is also celebrated on this day.

According to mythology, Shri Ram was born on the Navami date of Chaitra Navratri.

This year Ram Navami is to be celebrated on Thursday, 30 March.

Kamda Ekadashi fast and Som Pradosh Vrat will be observed only after Ramnamavi.

Auspicious time of Ram Navami 

Mahanavami and Ramnavami will be celebrated on 30 March Thursday night till 11.30 pm.

At the same time, the Paran of Ram Navami Vrat will be held on Dashami Tithi the next day.

Ramnavami Vrat Paran can be observed anytime till 1.57 pm on 31st March, Chaitra Shukla Dashami date. 


Devotees of Shriram spend the day in special worship on this day.

Shriram's aarti is sung, bhajans are heard and temples are also visited for darshan. 

Auspicious time of Kamda Ekadashi 

This year Kamda Ekadashi will be celebrated on 1st April, Saturday.

On Kamada Ekadashi, it will be till 4.20 pm on this day.

The fast can be observed on the next day i.e. 2nd April, Saturday morning till 4.20 am. 

According to belief, Sri Hari is worshiped on Kamda Ekadashi.

It is believed that one attains salvation by worshiping Lord Vishnu with full devotion.

Due to this, devotees keep fast on Kamda Ekadashi for Lord Vishnu. 

Auspicious time of Som Pradosh Vrat 

Pradosh Vrat will be observed on 3rd April, Monday.

Since it falls on Monday, it is called Som Pradosh Vrat.

Som Pradosh Vrat can be celebrated on the next day itself.

According to belief, Lord Shiva is worshiped during Pradosh Vrat.

By worshiping Mahadev, the God of Gods, in Pradosh Vrat, Bholenath listens to all the wishes and according to belief, brings prosperity in the life of the devotees.

For the worship of Som Pradosh Vrat, the Vrat is taken after getting up early in the morning.

After this Shiva is worshipped.
