In Ukraine, they plan to improve the procedures for conducting

mobilization

events.

The VRU Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence is working on this

Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Committee and representative of the president in the parliament, told Ukrinform about this.

"According to the results of the meeting of the defense committee, where all the top-level managers responsible for mobilization measures were present, they found out why such wrong situations arise. For example, when a serviceman was immediately sent to a combat zone after being drafted. We took up these questions for control. This will definitely not happen again. The guilty will be brought to justice," emphasized the representative of the defense committee.

According to him, the parliamentary committee is currently working on improving the procedure for conducting mobilization events.

In particular, the legislative changes will contribute to the settlement of the issue of issuing summonses to IDPs who are forced to live outside their place of permanent registration.

As a reminder,

martial law and general mobilization have been extended in Ukraine

 until May 19, 2023.

The military and the police issue summonses on the street to men aged 18 to 60.
