Five Russian-speaking hackers are suspected so far of the avalanche of false bomb alerts that sent Bulgaria into a frenzy.

The security services are working together with agents from the US and England to locate the cyberterrorists, writes the Telegraph.

Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev

He was born in 1975 in Plovdiv.

In 2001, it announced that it was most likely a hybrid attack linked to Russia.

For its part, the Moscow embassy in our country announced on its Facebook profile: "We fully condemn the heinous criminal actions aimed at intimidating the public by threatening the younger generation.

We categorically reject any unfounded accusations of our country carrying out such information attacks.

We trust that as a result of the investigation of the plot, the competent authorities of Bulgaria will give comprehensive comments on the remarks about the "Russian trail".

Demerdzhiev commented on the bomb threats in schools and revealed which is the leading version

Already in the early hours of yesterday, dozens of schools across the country received a threatening email announcing that a bomb had been planted.

UNSS was also evacuated.

In most schools, children will return today, but some will remain online.

The avalanche of false alarms also caused the anger of teachers and parents, who announced that it was not clear how to act in such situations and who decides whether children should return to class after the inspection or not.

Hours later, Demerdzhiev committed that a new protocol for action in the event of bomb threats would be drawn up within a few days.

Now they were acting on a document from 23 years ago.

“The threats come from emails registered on the Google network.

Google is the responsibility of US intelligence and they need to find out where they are coming from.

We have no way of establishing it on the territory of Bulgaria.

All threats that come from students, measures were taken within 24 hours, but this time it is not about that," Demerdzhiev also said.

The Minister of Education Sasho Penov

Prof. Dr. Sasho Penov is a Master of Laws from the Faculty of Law (FJ) of the University of Sofia and commented that the right to judge how to act in case of threats of explosive devices in schools is given to the principals.
