Delhi Police has refused permission for Ramnavmi procession and Ramzan programme.

New Delhi:

Delhi Police has not given permission to take out a procession on Ram Navami in Jahangirpuri area.

Along with this, permission has been refused to organize Ramzan program in the open ground of Maurya Enclave area.

Regarding Ram Navami, the police say that the organizers of the procession are not from Jahangirpuri and last year there was a huge law and order problem, so this time the procession has not been allowed.

The organizers have been advised to conduct the program at K block ground.

A situation of communal tension may arise in that area, due to which these decisions have been taken.

Let us tell you that Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri.

According to belief on Navami, girls are fed Kanjak at home and Kanyapujan is done.

Ram Navami is also celebrated on this day.

According to mythology, Shri Ram was born on the Navami date of Chaitra Navratri.

This year Ram Navami is to be celebrated on 30th March, Thursday.

Kamda Ekadashi fast and Som Pradosh Vrat will be observed only after Ram Navami.

At the same time, the month of Ramzan is also going on.
