Michal Lukeš, chief curator of the Czech National Museum, came to Taiwan with a delegation, and signed a letter of intent for exhibition cooperation between the two museums with Hong Shiyou, curator of the Taiwan Museum.

The two parties plan to cooperate in organizing the special exhibition "Czech Castles and Castles", which is scheduled to be exhibited at the Taiwan Museum from May to September 2024.

The two museums will also draw up an exhibition contract based on the work distribution and funding sharing model discussed at the work meeting of the visit to Taiwan.

In addition, the "Taiwan Culture Theme Exhibition" is tentatively scheduled to be exhibited in Prague in 2026, and the exhibition period and theme are to be discussed.

Li Caiyan, president of Chengchi University, and Jan Polák, vice president of Charles University in the Czech Republic, signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities to establish a supply chain resilience teaching and research center. National Chengchi University will send teachers to give lectures at Charles University. The main topics include the impact of international geopolitics on the semiconductor industry impact, how the semiconductor industry can develop sustainably, and how to increase the resilience of the semiconductor supply chain.

Shen Mingshi, deputy executive director of the National Defense Security Research Institute, and Ondřej Dittrich, director of the Prague Institute of International Relations (IIR), a think tank affiliated to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed a memorandum of cooperation and understanding.

The two think tanks signed a memorandum of understanding, mainly for exchanges and cooperation on issues such as challenges to the current international order, the political, economic and security situation in East Asia and Europe, China's internal situation, foreign policy and ambitions.

Cooperation projects include academic exchanges, holding seminars, exchanging short-term resident researchers, supporting ex-situ research, and jointly publishing academic journals, etc.
