BJP withdraws no-confidence motion against Delhi's Kejriwal government.

New Delhi:

Today is the last day of the budget session of the Delhi Assembly.

Today BJP was going to bring no-confidence motion against Arvind Kejriwal government, but now BJP has backed down from bringing no-confidence motion.

At the beginning of the budget session itself, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Rambir Bidhuri had given notice of no-confidence motion to the speaker.

Then the speaker had said that after the budget, he will consider it under the rules.

Regarding Rambir Bidhuri's no-confidence motion, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had said that our MLAs are being lured to vote in favor of BJP and fear of CBI and ED is being shown.

However, today the BJP withdrew the no-confidence motion against the Kejriwal government of Delhi.

According to the Leader of the Opposition, 1/5th number of MLAs (14 MLAs) is needed to discuss the no-confidence motion, but the BJP does not have that many number of MLAs in the House.

Ramveer Singh Bidhuri has raised the demand for discussion on the issue of corruption under Rule 55.

At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party will now discuss in the Delhi Assembly that Operation Lotus has failed inside Delhi.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal can address the house at around one o'clock in the afternoon.

Accusations and counter-accusations are going on continuously in Delhi between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party.

Two days back, Arvind Kejriwal government's Electricity Minister Atishi has accused LG and electricity companies of conspiring to stop free electricity.

Atishi said in a press conference that CM Kejriwal had ordered the CAG empaneled auditors to conduct an audit of the money given to power distribution companies by the Delhi government for free or cheap electricity in the last 8 years.

He said, "There is a conspiracy going on to stop free electricity in Delhi. Many facts related to this matter have come up, which raise questions. The files are not being shown to the power minister of the elected government of Delhi."
