By March 29, the priests of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate had to vacate all the buildings of

the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

and hand over the property to the state in connection with the termination of lease agreements.

However, the majority of Moscow priests do not intend to voluntarily leave the territory of the Lavra.

Yes, the priest, who introduced himself as Archimandrite Polycarp, told a TSN.ua

journalist in a comment

that "he will not leave because he came here to die."

"I took away things that are valuable to me, which are historical for me. I am not going to leave until they take me out under my arms... I will not leave here, because I came here to die," he answered.

Also, to the journalist's question about whether today was the last prayer in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, he answered in the negative.

"As if I'm still alive, today was hardly the last prayer. Today from 6 in the morning we sang fasting times with kafisms and prostrations, akathists to the Mother of God, vespers, at which 24 verses with the canon of St. Andrew were sung, the liturgy was and there was no tear gas it was," Archimandrite Polycarp summarized.

It will be recalled that one of the priests of the UOC MP stated that

they are not going to leave the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra despite the termination of the lease agreement.
