[Reporter Liu Qinghou/Taipei Report] A 62-year-old man surnamed Xie with 6 wanted arrest warrants on his back boldly set up a stall selling fruit in violation of regulations on the streets of Kunming, Beishi City. He caught sight of the patrolling police passing by and showed nervousness, which attracted the attention of the police. During the interrogation, he lied about other people’s identity information He was discovered and sent to justice yesterday according to law.
According to the police, Xie Nan is currently involved in six wanted cases including fraud, tax collection law, and commercial accounting law. Two of the crimes are sentenced to 7 years in January and 1 year in May.
On the evening of the 26th, officers from the Wanhua Branch of the Beishi Police Station were performing visa inspection duties for financial institutions. When they passed the intersection of Kunming Street and Chengdu Road, they saw a man with a stall vendor with flickering eyes.
Xie Nan initially tried to lie about the identity of others in an attempt to get away with it, but the police found that the relevant information was wrong.
After trying to figure it out, I learned that Xie Nan was a wanted criminal. He was arrested on the spot and brought to justice according to law.
