Hardoi:

Five people were killed and four others were injured in a road accident on Lucknow-Hardoi road in Dehat Kotwali area of ​​the district on Tuesday.

Police said that the accident was so gruesome that the bodies were mutilated.

Police sources said that there was a fierce collision between a speeding auto rickshaw and a car coming from the front on Lucknow-Hardoi road near Naya village of Dehat Kotwali area.

Both the vehicles were blown away in the accident.

He told that a total of five people died in the accident while four others were seriously injured.

One of the deceased has not been identified yet.

After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent the dead bodies for postmortem.

The injured have been admitted to hospital.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Dwivedi, who reached the spot, said that Ramdulari (38) and her three-year-old daughter Harshita and car driver Shyam Singh (40) resident of Bhatpurwa, police station Sursa, Ankur Singh (17) of Baghauli police station area were killed in the accident. ) resident Sandi Chungi Kotwali city and a 40-year-old unknown died on the spot.

He told that the injured have been admitted to the Medical College.

The police is investigating the matter.
