The body will be sent to the Animal Health Center this afternoon to clarify the cause of death, and an autopsy will be performed tomorrow morning. The Forest Service stated that the remains of the escaped baboons in Taoyuan were delivered to the Taipei Zoo by the Taoyuan City Government at 10:38 am today.
