On March 28, electricity partially disappeared

in

Odesa and the region due to an emergency shutdown of a high-voltage line.

This was reported in the press service of DTEK "Odesa Electric Networks".

"We are eliminating the consequences of worsening weather conditions in the Odesa region. As of 10:00 a.m., 28 settlements in the region were left without electricity due to bad weather. The Odesa and Bilhorod-Dniester districts were the most affected," the message says.

It is emphasized that 134 transformer substations and nine overhead lines have been disabled.

Also, due to strong gusts of wind, the high-voltage line supplying Odesa's Kyiv and Malinovsky districts was de-energized.

Energy workers quickly repaired the equipment and are gradually returning light to the homes of Odessa residents.

By the way, forecasters warned that the weather will worsen in the Odesa region: there will be rain and strong gusts of wind up to 20 m/s.

It will be recalled that the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko said that

in the western regions due to bad weather, power grids were damaged, and

in the regions, emergency disconnections of consumers are possible.

Also, in Zhytomyr Oblast, power supply restrictions are possible due to network infrastructure repairs.
