[Reporters Li Lifa, Luo Xinzhen/Pingtung Report] A deceased former congressman in Pingtung County was suspected of escorting a specific engineering manufacturer with his son, and then receiving kickbacks from them. The son of the congressman was also involved in human trafficking cases. Today, the soldiers searched in multiple ways and interviewed nearly 10 people involved in the case, and they are being investigated one after another.

It is understood that the late county councilor was suspected of conspiring with his son to propose construction projects to the Pingtung County government, escort specific manufacturers to win the bid, and then collect kickbacks from them. Prosecutors also found that the councilor’s son was also involved in human trafficking cases. Sending Taiwanese people to Cambodia to engage in illegal activities, after grasping the relevant evidence, today launched a search for the residences of the persons involved, manufacturers, etc., and obtained information from the county government, and at the same time summoned many people to come to the case to explain.

The Pingtung County government stated that the prosecution has reviewed the materials of some congressmen's proposals to subsidize the case today, but has not informed the reason for the review, nor is it clear about the relevant content, and will fully cooperate with the prosecution in handling the case.

The screen inspection said that the case is still in the investigation stage, and the relevant facts of the case have yet to be clarified.
