The military leadership

of the Russian Federation

probably involved "Wagnerians" with experience in the assault on Avdiivka, Donetsk region.

Yes, the occupiers are trying to support the exhausted and inferior forces of the "DNR".

This is reported in a recent report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

"If such Wagner fighters were fighting near Avdiyivka, then their participation may help explain the limited tactical success in this area over the past week," ISW explains.

By the way, on March 25, the spokesman of the Taurian army, Colonel Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, said that Ukrainian intelligence predicts the possible appearance of the "Wagner" group in the Avdiiv region.

In addition, a few days ago, a Russian VK user published an obituary, where he reported the death of "Wagnerian" Yevhen Malgotin in Avdiivka on March 20.

The post claims that the deceased had previous military experience and fought in the 2nd Russian volunteer unit of the Army of the Republika Srpska (known as the Army of the Bosnian Serbs) in 1992.

"Malgotin appears to have been an experienced fighter and probably represents a higher caliber fighter that is part of the special operations forces of the Wagner group. Although Wagner involved in the operations near Bakhmut most of the convicts, probably in different locations Ukraine has a contingent of highly qualified representatives," American analysts emphasize.

It will be recalled that Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria region,

critically assessed the ability of the Russian troops to encircle Avdiivka

and break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He noted the low morale and psychological state of the enemy, caused by heavy losses during the assaults.
