Although weather forecasters predict further cooling, spring still takes its toll.

In Kyiv, the first cherry blossoms have already blossomed on Verkhovna Rada Boulevard in the Dnipro district.

This was reported by "Kyivzelenbud" and published touching photos.

Autumnalis Rosea is an early-flowering variety.

White-pink flowers begin to bloom already in March.

"By the way, this avenue of cherry blossoms is considered the longest - in 2020 it entered the National Register of Records of Ukraine. Its length is 1,402 m. Over the years, 240 trees of seven different varieties have been planted here," the report says.

We will remind you that on March 28 in Kyiv and the region, as forecasters predicted, the weather worsened.

It is raining, which may change to sleet in the evening.

In addition, strong wind and ice are expected.
