Taichung City Councilor Zhang Fenyu received feedback from parents that he wanted to inquire about the school after receiving the school’s admissions brochure, and only found the classroom equipment when he was there. The construction has not yet been completed, and the inside is like a construction site. He is worried about whether school can start as scheduled. Zhang Fenyu asked the Education Bureau to pay close attention to the contracting work and construction, and must complete the work on schedule to welcome the new students in the most perfect state.

Taichung public kindergartens and non-profit kindergartens open online registration from the 26th of this month to April 7th. On-site registration is subject to the announcement of each kindergarten’s enrollment brochure. They were all looking forward to it, and parents came to the scene one after another to help their children see the environment of the new school.

Unexpectedly, many parents came to have a look, only to find that the interior was empty, and the floor had not yet been laid. They all questioned, "Is there a way to start school in August?" Taichung City Councilor Zhang Fenyu went to the scene today to check, and happened to meet 2 parents. Looking at the environment, a parent said that his child is studying in a non-profit kindergarten in the Eastern District. He was very happy to see that a new kindergarten was added to the enrollment ranks in Dali this year.

Zhang Fenyu said that Yimin non-profit kindergarten is expected to enroll 4 classes of 3-year-old to pre-primary school children, with a total of 120 students. The internal planning of classrooms, toilets, indoor activity space, meal preparation room, office and other spaces, the current floor, interior decoration, etc. The work has not yet started, and the inside is like a construction site. No wonder the parents are worried after seeing it.

Zhang Fenyu said that the Yimin non-profit kindergarten and the adjacent Yiminguo small underground parking lot were being built at the same time. Currently, additional budgets are required for a second contract to be fully completed internally. The Education Bureau is required to keep an eye on the construction progress, and must be completed before August to start school as scheduled.
