Bulgaria is not giving up on renegotiating the Recovery Plan, but the process will be difficult.

This is what the Acting Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov said in Brussels

Rosen Hristov has a master's degree in international economic relations from the University of California after talks with the European Commission, BNT reported.

Hristov is in Brussels to participate in the meeting of energy ministers from the European Union.

The EC expects Bulgaria to show concrete projects from the Plan.

We will insist to the EC to close our coal plants after 2030

In three weeks there will be another meeting between the European Commission and representatives of Bulgaria.

If the country is not ready to close coal plants, it must present alternatives for the percentage reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.
