After the visit of the Chinese leader Xi Jinping to Moscow, the Russian dictator Putin declared that there is no military alliance between the Russian Federation and China.

Is it possible to say that those who wrote that now Putin is completely dependent on Xi Jinping were mistaken, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan Serhii Korsunskyi told in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

According to the diplomat, China is currently "quietly annexing" Russia.

"It's definitely not worth talking about the nuclear triad. I think it can be argued that there is an actual quiet, but annexation of Russia by China. It seemed to me completely unprecedented when the leader of the People's Republic of China said that he believed that the people of Russia would support Putin next year. If this was said, then this, most likely, was an agreed-upon statement in a certain way, which looked wild. When Putin was elected for the first time, Yeltsin begged Clinton for the appropriate endorsement. It seems that Xi Jinping read the recording of that telephone conversation and also gave such an endorsement." Korsunsky notes.

The ambassador reminded that 14% of Russia's foreign trade is already carried out in yuan.

And in the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, bankers are even taught Chinese.

Features of the Chinese economy

But in China, the exchange rate of the yuan is set by the Communist Party.

Therefore, it is impossible to talk about the market rate.

China always thinks only of itself, that's how this country is organized," the diplomat explained.

What do Russian elites think?

According to his information, the elite of Russia is extremely concerned about such a rapprochement between Moscow and Beijing.

Because the number one country in the world by the number of billionaires is China.

"Their number has increased dramatically in the two years of covid. They will eat all the Russian billionaires for breakfast who have lost huge resources. What was happening was obvious. This Russian colossus on two clay legs, which stood between Europe and Asia, being essentially an Asian country, now it stands on one leg and China is sawing off that leg. It will beat it when it needs it," says Korsunskyi.

What will China do next?

The ambassador believes that now China is not interested in Putin losing power.

"They will talk about peace for 25 years, the message to the Russian people is that China is with you. This is all beneficial to them. They get gas for $290, although before that Putin sold to Europe for $1,000. Now China is in an obvious win. The other thing is not is a stable situation. If they understand this, then it is good for them, if not, it is bad for everyone. Because in this way they only increase the efforts and unity of the West and increase the suffering of the Ukrainian people. Nothing good will come of this for them. Also, the controlled degradation continues "Russia is rapidly turning into a younger brother who has serious problems with his intellectual abilities. It has abandoned modern civilization and returned to the distant past under communist ideology," concluded the ambassador of Ukraine to Japan.

It will be recalled that on March 24, dictator Putin announced that Russia would place tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.

In response, the Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized the inadmissibility of a nuclear war under any conditions.

According to analyst Mykhailo Samus, Putin will remain in power if "he is under China."
