Portugal handed over three Leopard 2A6 tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is not known when exactly

arrived in Ukraine.

This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of National Defense of Portugal.

"The 3 Leopard 2A6 tanks promised by Portugal are already in Ukraine. They have been delivered as determined by our partners. Portugal continues to support Ukrainian resistance to the illegal invasion of Russia," the statement said.

By the way, Lisbon reported that it was negotiating with Germany about the purchase of parts necessary to repair the Leopard 2 that had failed.

 This happened two months after the German government decided to supply heavy battle tanks.
