During the mobilization in Ukraine, it is impossible to deliver a summons to potential conscripts at their place of residence, because almost no one opens the door.

Representatives of the Military Committee complain about this.

In an interview with "UP", the head of the Lviv Regional TCC, Oleksandr Tyshchenko, explained why summonses to conscripts are distributed en masse to men in Ukraine on the streets and public places.

He got married, his state of health changed: the lawyer explained why they serve a summons in the first place

"Many conscripts did not appear at the TCC after the declaration of military status. So now, in order to update their credentials, we had to distribute summonses everywhere," Tyshchenko said in his comments.

He also emphasized that since the beginning of mobilization in Ukraine, a conscript must come to the recruitment center himself, without summons.

This is exactly how a significant number of Ukrainians did it in the first days of Russia's war against Ukraine.

However, due to the non-appearance of other potential conscripts, summonses had to be distributed everywhere to update their credentials.

"For every change in the personal life of a conscript, he must appear at the TCC: he got married, had a child, changed his health, got a new education, a new job. But few people did that, so the military commissariats now have a lot of outdated credentials Ukrainians, there is a need to clarify them," adds lawyer Artem Krykun-Trush.

Why are summonses served on the streets

The head of the Lviv regional TCC drew attention to one more problem.

According to him, lawyers say that summonses are often served in Ukraine not according to the rules.

But, according to him, attention should be paid to another aspect: mobilization has been announced - come yourself without a summons.

Tyshchenko also complained that it is usually impossible to serve a summons at the place of residence, because almost no one opens the door.

So, let us remind you that the representatives of the Military Committee can serve the summons anywhere.

The list of places is not regulated by law.

Officials of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, relevant local self-government bodies, employers, heads of educational institutions, authorized representatives of housing and communal services and condominiums have the right to serve a summons in Ukraine.

We will remind you about the rules in force during mobilization-2023.

Men of draft age (18-60 years old) who have gone abroad since the beginning of the war and have not returned, may be held administratively liable after returning home.

Since January 27, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution prohibiting official travel abroad during martial law without valid reasons.

The rule also applies to officials.

You can cross the border only on the basis of documents on business trips.
